Aging foodies will recall their first encounter in high school - of beguiling nipple-slipping belly dancers, ladies fingers, addictive falafel rolls and when a ramekin of paprika-sprinkled hummus was laid before them at Fatima Lebanese Restaurant in gritty Surry Hills. Somehow no other hummus has ever measured up to that memory.
