P'tite Ardoise Bistro's chef-owner, Xavier Pique knows how to work a good truffle. When Western Australia's Manjimup beauties are in season, his restaurant's door gets politely beaten down. Should you miss out, drown your sorrows in a sympathetic authentic French onion soup, rejoice in pan fried duck livers with pea puree, and obligatory crème brulee. This is a wonderful and highly respected French eatery, among it's many culinary neighbours on Beaufort Street Highgate.
