About the restaurant
As the only Irish pub in the Yarra Valley, the Pig and Whistle Tavern in Olinda does a roaring trade. Set in the heart of the Mount Dandenong Ranges, the Pig and Whistle offers a pretty view of its surrounding manicured rose gardens. In true Irish/English-pub style, beer jugs hang from the walls and diners sit at thick wooden tables. The order of the day is Pig and Whistle's signature pork belly, eaten with a pint of Old Hen ale - one of the most popular beers on tap.
