About the restaurant

This intimate locale on Little Bourke Street, with barely room for 40 guests, is a pasta den that's worth every carb-fuelled calorie. Tipo 00 (named after a type of Italian flour) boasts a simple fit-out of bare-back tables, blue bentwood chairs, a cool marble bar fronted by Luke Skidmore from St Crispin and an espresso machine. In the kitchen are chefs Alberto Fava (ex Merchant) and co-owner Andreas Papadakis (ex Vue de Monde) who are rolling dough to procure perfectly-formed tortellini, gutsy parpadelle and other Italian delights.
