One of Melbourne's favourite haunts for Indian cuisine, Gaylord Indian Restaurant has been tucked in Tattersalls Lane since 1985. The kitchen specialises in the ancient craft of Tandoori cuisine, a style of cooking that involves meat, vegetables and seafood being marinated in spices, herbs and yoghurt and then baked in the clay oven. The chef's specialties include chicken tikka, tandoori prawns and shish kebabs of tender lamb mince cooked on skewers
