About the restaurant
Since 2006 The Convent Bakery has made its home in the grounds of the former kitchen wing of the Sisters of Good Shepherd convent. The location has two magnificent masonry wood fired ovens built in 1901, where artisan bakers now produce old-fashioned bread and delicious pastries. The cafe offers a full breakfast and lunch menu plus Parisian bistro-style seating indoors or in a leafy spot outside.
