The Provenance

Taking residence in the majestic old Bank of Australasia, built in Beechworth in 1856 when the gold rush gripped the nation, Provenance restaurant reflects the extravagance of the era with spectacularly high, ornate ceilings, classic arched windows and a magnificent Japanese influenced and regional contemporary menu by celebrated chef Michael Ryan. Beechworth is located in northern Victoria, a three-hour drive from Melbourne. Why not stay the night !  Accommodation is located at the rear of the restaurant,  in what was once the old stables. A great base to explore all that the historic town of Beechworth has to offer.
