About the restaurant
Housed within an Art Deco building, the Astor Grill serves contemporary Australian and is a firm favourite with locals and visitors. The Art Deco charm of the exterior isn't lost in the dining room, with elegant decor, white tablecloths and blood-red walls, accompanied by professional service. The menu pays homage to the finest Tasmanian produce, including oysters from the Astor's own farm at Pipeclay Lagoon. Two dining rooms can cater to 55 people seated and up to 65 standing.
