About the restaurant
The Salopian Inn, Mclaren Vale reopened with an inspired refit of the 1851 homestead. Home to Heirloom Vineyard wine, the Inn has an exceptional local and international wine cellar, and offers contemporary Australian cuisine with a regional, seasonal focus. The menu spans from Asian-inspired lemongrass calamari, to roast lamb rump with spring peas and goats fetta dressing. Sweets include a chocolate brioche and roast pear pudding, and a salted caramel ice-cream sandwich. The Inn also harbours an exotic selection of gin.
