About the restaurant
En is a find. A “secret” bar out back with Sapporo on tap, is entree to this Izakaya style drinking establishment. Ornate share plates are traditionally served to accompany your plonk. Stand-outs are tender (takoyaki) octopus balls, squid tentacles, prawn tempura, and pork belly. Try the Oba cheese fry. A crunch of its casing releases warm, gooey goodness, pocketed with fragrant shiso leaf. A cool slice of Japan in suburban Goodwood.
