About the restaurant

Tucked away from the main drag of Maleny, Pomodoras on Obi is a slow-food restaurant, nestled in a serene rainforest setting. In winter it's a welcome retreat from the cold weather with enclosed verandahs and an open-plan dining room complete with rattan woven chairs and locally made timber tables. Chef and owner Chris Bond has created a Modern Australian menu that is in keeping with the restaurant's slow, local and organic philosophy. The wine list (also organic) features local drops and comes at pleasing country prices.
