About the restaurant
If you find yourself parched on the Gold Coast Highway near Nobby Beach, the Cambus Wallace awaits you. Named after a ship that was wrecked off the coast of Stradbroke Island in 1894 carrying beer, whiskey and explosives, The Cambus Wallace is destined to be a firecracker of a bar. Naturally, there is a whisky menu, plus over 20 different rums (a nod to the poison of choice for the 10 friends who opened the joint). The kitchen serves casual, bar friendly food, including a great value charcuterie/cheese board for sharing.
