The Regatta Hotel, grand dame of the Brisbane River, is best known for another grand dame chaining herself to its bar in 1965 in protest of its then-ban on female patrons. Its latest refurbishment takes the iconic building back to its original state, with a modern twist. The Hotel's Boatshed restaurant, a modern steakhouse, specialises in dry aged meat and other pub classics.
