About the restaurant
Situated on the beautiful Redcliffe Peninsula, the family owned and operated, Golden Ox has held its position as an iconic dining and events landmark for decades. The Margate premises features the restaurant, modern cocktail bar, two reception rooms and other facilities built around a central kitchen. The success of The Golden Ox has been largely due to the hard work of owners Nick and Virginia Tzimas and Head Chef and son Peter Tzimas who creates Modern Australian dishes with a focus on seafood.
