About the restaurant
One of the oldest surviving buildings in the James Street precinct is home to Sixes and Sevens, a bar and gastropub. There heritage-listed weatherboard cottage dates back to 1878 and is now beautifully restored with a touch of plantation chic. The deck spills out to an open-air beer garden, which is covered in astro turf and full of patrons sipping boutique beers. Bar food like short ribs, toasties, fish fingers and antipasto boards, are designed for sharing.
