Harrys Cafe de Wheels
Woolloomooloo, Sydney, New South Wales
About
Harry’s Cafe de Wheels is a Sydney Icon, with a rich history that dates back to the 1930s when enterprising Sydneysider Harry Edwards opened a caravan café at the Woolloomooloo naval dockyard. His pie and pea combo became a popular nightly meal amongst sailors, soldiers, cabbies and starlets. Now under the ownership of Michael Hannah the eatery is sill as popular with other locations in Tempe, Burwood, Bondi, Liverpool and more. The signature dish is a chunky lean beef pie served with mushy peas, mash and gravy.
