About the restaurant
Perched on the 18th level of the Ace Hotel in Surry Hills and overlooking Surry Hills and beyond is Kiln. Chef and owner Mitch Orr's, previously of ACME in Rushcutters Bay uses wood fire cooking, native ingredients and inspiration from Italy, Southeast Asia and Japan. Seafood and vegetables feature on the menu, along with a few more substantial meat dishes. The extensive wine list is predominantly Australian.
