About the restaurant
The historic crypt and garden inside St James' Church on Macquarie Street has become a cafe, Jardin St James. The church, designed by convict artist Francis Greenway is the oldest working church in the country. Created by Bill Drakopoulos, the restaurateur behind LuMi, Aqua Dining and Ripples, the venture involves not only a cafe but also a Parisian coffee cart.
