Sample Coffee

Holt Streets bustling food scene is now home to Sample, a delightful espresso coffee bar nestled neatly alongside Vini's. Coming from a background of roasting at Mecca Espresso, Rueben is well versed in coffee milieu, showcasing brews from top Australian roasters and encouraging customers to try new beans. This hole-in-the wall joint is definitely just that, and offers very little seating to lounge about. But the decor is lovely, and really, it's all about the coffee. Opt for the ‘pacemaker' or showcase roaster espresso, and do what the Italians do – drink it at the bar, gossip with the barista, then bid farewell.
