About the restaurant
The passionate trio behind Kurtosh in Randwick, Tom and Ben Haikin and patisserie expert Jean-Marc Masset, have opened their second store on Crown Street, Surry Hills. In the same style as their flagship store, the decor features exposed brick walls, warm timber floors and little tables scattered with wooden stools. This quaint patisserie conjures up childhood memories of baking and tradition especially as the name Kurtosh' comes from Kurtoskalaca' a traditional Hungarian pastry called chimney cake.
