About the restaurant
Civico 47 opens it doors end of March on the former Lucio's space in Paddington, an Italian institution that held the iconic address for almost 40 years before closing in January, 2021. This landmark has been given a Mediterranean makeover giving it a relaxed neighbourhood feel. Executive chef Matteo Zamboni who is at the helm, comes with an impressive resume having worked at Ormeggio at the Spit, and Pilu at Freshwater. His resume also include a Michelin starred restaurant La Pergola in Rome. Perfectly suited for an intimate dinner for two or for larger catch ups with family and friends, Civico 47 also offers a semi-private dining room that can accommodate up to 14 guests and is available to book exclusively with a minimum spend
