About the restaurant
Illustrious botanist Gerard Fothergill reportedly spent the declining years of his life in the Kirribilli location where The Botanist now operates. The restaurant is the venture of Ben Carroll and Hamish Watts (the team behind Bondi Hardware) and keeps things interesting with a botanical and exploratory theme. Drinks are flavoured with botanical infusions and food includes sliders, pizzas, share dishes, salads and mezze for groups.
