About the restaurant
Cafe Henandez, a Kings Cross coffee institution for over 50 years is now home to Vemuteria, a beautifully transformed Spanish aperitif bar featuring vermouth on tap, sherry, cocktails, sangria, Spanish and Australian wines. Tapas dishes include mortadella sandwiches, mussels and of course sardines in olive oil. Vemuteria is a unique venue with a mini deli at the back featuring charcuterie from LP's Quality Meats, tinned seafood and other Spanish inspired treats. You can even still get a cup of Cafe Hernandez's coffee, and have that authentic neighbourhood Spanish cafe experience.
