Yardbird

Yardbird is in the NSW Victorian border town of Albury, on the Murray River, 5.3 hours to Melbourne and around 5.5 hours to Sydney. The warm industrial interior beckons diners into Yardbird, or maybe it's the delightful smell of meats and vegetables cooking over fire?  The Mediterranean menu may include Port Lincoln sardines, oysters, grain fed or pasture fed beef and slow cooked lamb, with most of the  produce sourced from the surrounding region. The beverage list features cocktails, a large selection of spirits and wines from Australia, with a few French bottles.
