Old John's

Since when did Coffs Harbour become so yuppie? Down on the Jetty Strip, Old John's is a hip little café and wine bar with a retro-inspired decor. A wall mural of recycled wooden doors features to one side, while framed portraits of Jesus and a random sortie of paintings add an eclectic charm. Coffee is courtesy of Five Senses and soy drinkers will be happy to know Bonsoy is used. The simple menu covers all your café favourites and keeps things local with sourdough from Bellingen's Hearthfire bakery and smoked ham from Bangalow. But the party doesn't stop at sundown – Old John's transforms into a wine bar, complete with fruity cocktails and a $15 pasta and drink offer.
