Nestled on top of picturesque Mt Mee this charming restaurant enjoys spectacular views of the surrounding rural countryside and out to the Redcliffe Peninsula, Moreton Bay, Moreton Island and beyond. A few kilometres inland from the Glasshouse Mountains, Birches (formerly Munchkins Restaurant) is less than an hour's drive from Brisbane.

The restaurant provides a large open area featuring a high-raked timber ceiling, solid brushbox timber floors and a magnificent fireplace at its heart. Wander through open glass French doors to large verandahs. The venue also lends itself to special occasions with its lush gardens and neighbouring church. Weddings are a specialty, and Christmas Parties and "Christmas in July" functions are also very popular.
