Old Mates Place
Sydney CBD, Sydney, New South WalesCruising down Clarence Street you’ll find another late-night spot sitting on the fourth floor. This is Old Mate’s Place – a mysterious mixture between a tiki bar and a speakeasy. The decor is dark, moody and unsuspiciously fun, with walls lined with bookshelves adorned with intricate trinkets and island-like ferns. Open for business from Tuesday to Sunday until 2am, Old Mate’s Place is our top pick for afterparty venues. If it’s not for the cocktails, it’s for the Devils Three Way Cheese Steak.
