Located in the heritage listed Brisbane Arcade, Room with Roses is a cafe best known for its high tea and take-home sweet treats. High tea is served twice per day, Monday through Saturday, and includes mini treats made in-house, like raspberry scones, lemon curd tarts and the restaurant's signature chocolate heaven cakes. Lunches are a light affair (diners must leave room for the sweets!) so salads, quiches and curries feature alongside some hearty options like shepherd's pies.

Residing within the five-star luxury Emporium Hotel, Belle Epoque is a little taste of Paris just off the streets of Brisbane. In South Bank, hotel guests and locals feast on house made tarts and gateaux for breakfast but as the day continues, perch at the stunning Champage bar for an afternoon tasting.
