About the restaurant
Occupying the former 1927 Acton Hotel, the incredibly popular A. Baker, is a bakery, cafe and bar all rolled into one. The blend of steel surfaces, alicante marble, charcoal finishes and carbon leather creates a raw and edgy environment over two open levels. A. Baker produces its own traditional hand-formed, slow ferment wild yeast sourdough breads using grain that is milled on-site. This eating and drinking hub hosts regular cultural events such as live music in the New Acton courtyard every Friday evening.
